
The gallery recently hosted the launch of a new book "Life on Marsh" an art and anecdote from Dungeness
and Romney Marsh by local author Niko Miaoulis lavishly illustrated with the vibrant and colourful paintings of well known
contemporary artist Andy Holyer. "Life on Marsh" is on sale at the gallery now, together with selected books
from other local authors.

Local artist and author, Clare Danstead recently launched
the third book in her series of children’s stories about Phoenix and her magical world at Chimaera Gallery. All three
books in the series are on sale in the gallery now.
Our new Group Exhibition opened in February and features
a vast range of unique and affordable art in a range of media. We are delighted to welcome featured artist Charles Newington
to Chimaera.
Chimaera Gallery supported the 2008 Folkestone Literary
Festival's Fringe events by hosting a fascinating talk on author HG Wells on 6th November, by Reg Turnill and Nicholas
Reed. We also hostedthe first music event ever to take place in the gallery on 8th November - 'Sans Genre' - a night
of new jazz with artists Maiuko, Maquenzie and Paul Cheneour and guests.
Chimaera Gallery celebrated our first anniversary in September with
a party to thank everyone who has supported us over the past year, and also to launch our exciting new show. See the picture
